Student Teaching at 27J

27J partners with universities to support a great student teaching, residency, or internship experience. We believe we play an important role in preparing future teachers and educators. Our partnership in teacher preparation brings dynamic learning from our student teachers and university partners into our schools and teachers. 

27J Schools is home of the 4-day work week and hosts opportunities for developing teachers and special service providers to learn their craft.  Located in the north Denver metro area in Brighton, Commerce City and Thornton, close to Denver, DIA, and Boulder.  With over 16,000 students, 27J is one of the fastest growing Colorado school districts. 

We offer opportunities to school psychology interns, school counseling interns, classroom student teachers, practical experiences, and year long classroom residencies.  Last fall we hosted over 60 student teachers/fields/residents. 27J HR has strong connections to most local universities, so be sure to let your university coordinator know your interest in 27J.
